This song sprung forth after a 30 songwriting challenge. The task was to write a song a day for 30 days. It was a great motivating impetus at the time. I had to dig deep and push my edges. I came out having written around 25 new songs. The goal wasn’t to write the best song possible but to just keep showing up. It is what it takes to refine my craft and claim my artistry. What I realized in this process was that momentum is not an outside force but something that is generated from within. Every time I show up and take action I am moving forward and like a snowball the energy keeps growing. In essence, this song is a constant reminder that I am responsible for my life and my experience. With this knowledge, I feel empowered to go the extra mile and manifest my dreams.
