I wrote “A Little Love” as a response to all the intensity we are facing personally and collectively. Sometimes I think I need to be saintly like Mother Theresa or his holiness the Dalai Lama to effect big change and love humanity through the suffering we experience.

The truth is that every act of love and kindness creates a rippling effect that impacts people more than we can ever imagine. This is the essence of this song. All we need is a little love, a bit of care, a gentle touch. These simple acts can create a tidal wave of positive change. When I am feeling powerless and overwhelmed in the face of such adversity this song reminds me to start small and watch how that little flame can grow into a powerful fire of healing and transformation.

Many different musical elements came together to create a feeling of upliftment and hope in “A Little Love”. One of these the Kora, a West African instrument that combines features of a lute and harp. As soon as I heard the enchanting sound I knew it would match the vibration and intention of the music. I am so grateful for my dear friend Sebatierra for laying down the additional magic to this song.
